Rajkot: Depressed, Class XII boy hangs to death

RAJKOT (Person) Suicide

RAJKOT: A 19-year-old Class XII student committed suicide by hanging at his home in the quarters of Bharat Industries in Gondal on Tuesday.

The student Smit Zapadiya had slipped into depression but the exact trigger for the drastic step is still being investigated. A few years ago, Smit had even fled from home but returned after some days. His parents work as labourers in Bharat Industries and Smit was the youngest among three siblings including a sister. The family is a native of Limbdi.
