RAJKOT: Cops block doctor’s 1 lakh before scammers strike

RAJKOT: The cyber crime police successfully blocked an amount before it could be transferred to the cyber crooks through a banking channel after Dr TKM Ishwar reported losing Rs 1.2 lakh to cyber crooks. He said he got a link on email to recharge his Netflix subscription and when he filled the form and submitted, within minutes Rs 1.2 lakh got debited from his credit card. He soon contacted cops.
