Rajasthan: Teen shot dead over parking charges in Baran city

KOTA: A 16-year-old boy was shot dead during a brawl that reportedly erupted after a heated debate over parking charges at Grain Mandi in Baran city on Saturday. The assailants immediately fled the crime spot and are yet to be nabbed.

The incident, which reportedly occurred around 5pm, caused panic across the city with senior police officials rushing to the spot.

Baran SHO Mangilal said the deceased was identified as Azad of Talab Para. He sustained two bullet injuries. “A debate over parking charges led to the scuffle,” said Vijay Swarnkar, ASP, Baran.

Further investigation into the case is on.
