JAIPUR: Following the revival of the southwest monsoon, many places in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Kota and Ajmer divisions received mild to moderate showers on Sunday. At some places, scattered rainfall increased humidity levels. Kota received 97.2mm rainfall, the highest in the state.
Places which received rain on Sunday include Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Alwar and Dausa districts.
People in Jaipur woke up amid drizzling that converted into scattered rainfall during the day. Some places including Jhotwara, Khatipura, Vaishali Nagar, Murlipura and Harmada witnessed scattered rainfall while many areas including colonies adjoining Ajmer Road, Adarsh Nagar, Raja Park and Jawahar Nagar remained dry. “Jaipur witnessed scattered rainfall while many parts received no rainfall,” said an officer with Jaipur Met office.
