Avesh Khan, part of the India T20I squad against Australia, has secured 55 wickets from 47 IPL matches. He was initially bought by LSG for Rs 10 crore in the 2022 mega auction. The right-arm pacer represented LSG in 22 matches, claiming 26 wickets, and was traded to RR for his existing fee.

Devdutt Padikkal, purchased by RR for Rs 7.75 crore, has 57 IPL matches to his name, amassing 1521 runs with a century and nine half-centuries. Padikkal, who was retained by RR, now moves to LSG in exchange for his existing fee.

In other IPL transfer news, Delhi Capitals have released out-of-form middle-order batters Sarfaraz Khan and Manish Pandey. Sarfaraz was acquired for Rs 20 lakh, while Pandey received Rs 2.40 crore from the franchise.

With their release, Delhi Capitals have freed up an additional Rs 2.60 crore for the upcoming IPL auction.
