UDAIPUR: The Rajsamand police on Thursday early morning raided an alleged rave party and gambling at a resort cum water park and arrested 45 persons, including 9 women.
The Police team led by Hanuwant Singh Bhati, SHO Rajsamand police station raided a resort in Badarda area near Kathiyawadi Hotel in Rajsamand and recovered Rs 34,500, 17 luxury cars, bike, liquor, drugs and other objectionable items.
Out of the 45 arrested 15 persons were arrested on the charges of gambling while 21 men and 9 women were arrested for involvement in the alleged rave party.
During the raid, taking advantage of the darkness the bookies fled from the spot. The arrested men and women are being interrogated and police are on the lookout for the kingpin behind the gambling racket.
