JAIPUR: Monsoon activity was weak in majority of the places on Tuesday except in Udaipur and Kota divisions. Jaipur Met office said from Wednesday, Udaipur and Kota divisions are likely to get heavy rainfall while Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions may receive mild showers. The first spell of monsoon has helped in raising the water levels of dams and reservoirs.
Since its onset, southwest monsoon has brought better rainfall compared to 2021. “ This year, it has received nearly 89mm. The average rainfall is comparatively higher so far, though many districts are yet to get good rains,” said an officer with Jaipur Met office.
In its forecast, Jaipur Met office said light to moderate rainfall will take place in Jaipur and Bharatpur divisions.
