KOTA: A 28-year-old man was on Friday sent to jail under judicial custody for allegedly murdering his uncle, who had illicit relations with his wife, in Ramganj Mandi town of Kota.
The incident took place on Wednesday night.
A co-accused in the murder, the younger brother of key accused Kartik, is yet to be nabbed.
The deceased was identified as Rameshwar Meena (30), a resident of Haimalkhedi under Ramganj Mandi police station of Kota, who worked in a local factory.
The body was recovered with injuries on head, neck and face from a deserted plot behind a private school on Suket road in Ramganj Mandi town on Thursday morning.
Cracking the blind murder mystery within hours, Kota rural police on Thursday evening arrested Kartik Meena (28).
They registered a case under Section 302 against him.
Kartik was last seen with the deceased on Wednesday night and clues by locals led to his arrest.
