JAISALMER: Pachpadra police of Barmer along with Khedli police of Alwar detained a suspicious man in a blind murder case from Ikdhani village and arrested four others with 10 live cartridges.
Barmer SP Deepak Bhargava said on Saturday based on location tracking, Khedli police team led by head constable Jhamman Singh came to Pachpadra to get hold of a suspicious in a blind murder. A team of Pachpadra police led by SI Bhakar Ram was deployed.
The teams detained the Banwari Lal and handed him over to the Khedli police. Meanwhile, at the hamlet, Ajay Singh, Pawan Singh, Balram, and Jabar Singh started running after seeing the police. They were caught and during the search, 10 live cartridges were recovered from them.
The SP said the arrested accused include Ajay Singh (22), resident of Tasai in Kathumar police station, Pawan (24), resident of Lakhi ka Nagla, Tasai in Kathumar police station (Alwar), Balram Gurjar (27), resident of Sarangpur in Nagar police station (Bharatpur), and Jabar Singh (24), resident of Ikdhani in Pachpadra police station. A case has been lodged against these four under the Arms Act and they are being quizzed.
