Raj Kundra porn film case: Gehana Vasisth says she is out of Mumbai as she gets summoned by the Mumbai police, promises to "fully cooperate"

Gehana Vasisth was summoned by the Mumbai Police today along with two others for questioning in connection with the porn film racket probe today. However, the actress has cited she is out of the city and is willing to cooperate with the police in the investigations.

ANI quoted Gehana, “Since I am currently out of Mumbai, I am unable to appear before the Property Cell of Mumbai Police's Crime Branch today. I am ready to fully cooperate in the investigation (in the pornography film racket case).”

Check out the tweet here:

Gehana was arrested and put behind bars for five months before being released on bail in June for the same case which has been doing the rounds since February this year. According to reports, she had a role to play in the case and is one of the nine accused in the matter. While Raj’s police custody has been extended till July 27, Gehana told Times of India exclusively that Raj had never forced anyone to shoot porn. According to her, Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra, who have come out and spoken strongly against Raj are apparently lying.

Gehana Vasisth had also told Navbharat Times in an interview, "Just a few days before I got arrested, I went to Raj’s office. There I got to know that he is planning to launch an app called Bollyfame. They were planning to showcase reality shows, chat shows, music videos and non-bold films on the app. We also discussed a few scripts and thought about casting Shamita Shetty in one script, Sai Tamhankar and a few other actors.” Gehana further claimed that she was supposed to direct these movies and that Shamita Shetty had agreed for the same with Umesh Kamat, who is Raj Kundra’s PA and also an accused in this case.

After being arrested on July 19, Raj Kundra was sent to police custody till July 23 and the same was further extended till July 27.
