Bollywood filmmaker Raj Kaushal passed away on June 30, after he suffered a cardiac arrest. Just two days before his untimely demise, Raj had shared a fun picture on Instagram with his wife Mandira Bedi and friends. The couple seemed to have hosted a get-together which was attended by their close friends Ashish Chaudhary, Sagarika Ghatge, Zaheer Khan, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi. Raj had captioned the memory, “Super Sunday. Super Friends. Super Fun.”

Neha Dhupia had also shared the same picture and expressed grief on Raj’s untimely demise. “Raj , we took this picture to create more and more memories… can’t believe you are not with us anymore … Mandira , my strong strong girl, I am at a loss of words. My heart belongs to Vir and Tara… I’m shaken up and in shock and disbelief as I write this , RIP Raj.” Ashish Chaudhary, who was a close friend of Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi was one of the first to reach their residence when the unfortunate news was reported. He late paid a heart-breaking tribute to Raj Kaushal on social media. “My big brother, my guiding light, my happy quotient, my pamper-me-lots person, is gone. My brother who supported me fiercely like my sister Monica who I also lost, is gone. But yet, he’s filled positivity and gratitude real hard in me. He’s taught me well. To survive any storm. And I’ll do the same today. For him. I love you forever, my Rajiee. Until then my bro. Until we meet again,” shared Ashish Chaudhary with a series of priceless memories.
Mandira Bedi bid a teary goodbye to husband Raj Kaushal and broke gender stereotypes as she performed his last rites. The inconsolable actress was comforted by close friends and family at the funeral. Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had tied the knot in 1999 and have a 9-year-old son named Vir. In July 2020 the couple had adopted a 4-year-old girl and named her Tara Bedi Kaushal.
