Bollywood woke up to the bitter news of filmmaker Raj Kaushal’s demise on Wednesday morning. Mandira Bedi lost her husband to a cardiac arrest at 4:30 am. Close friend of the family, Jitu Savlani, when contacted confirmed and said, “It is true he suffered a cardiac arrest early in the morning.”

Raj Kaushal was a Bollywood director and producer who was active in the industry since late 90s.
He marked his directorial debut with Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Dutt and Minissha Lamba starrer ‘Anthony Kaun Hai?’ in 2006.
Raj Kaushal went on to co-produce Onir’s directorial ‘My Brother… Nikhil’ in 2005 and called the shots for films like ‘Shaadi Ka Laddoo’ and 'Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi'.
Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal tied the knot on February 14, 1999 and welcomed son Vir in 2011.
Last year in July 2020, Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi adopted a 4-year-old girl and named her Tara Bedi Kaushal.
Raj Kaushal was currently working on a web-series titled 'Akkad Bakkad'. He had shot for it extensively in Madhya Pradesh.
