Raipur: A music workshop will be organized under the Sangam program in Badal, the prime art and culture organization in Bastar on June 22.
Mumbai’s iconic and nationally acclaimed ‘Daira’ band will train the music lovers of Bastar about the nuances of music. This workshop will be the first of its kind in the state.
Bastar Academy of Dance, Art, Language (BADAL) is constantly active in the region for saving and conserving the culture and local arts traditions of Bastar. Various workshops are organised here from time to time for the people of Bastar.
Under the same initiative, the performers of Mumbai's ‘Daira’ band will introduce the youth of Bastar to different aspects of music on June 22. Apart from conducting detailed training sessions on basic music therapy, musical expressions and art of listening to music, etc., the youth of Bastar will be made acquainted with many intricacies of music such as stage performance, jamming, etc. in this workshop.
