Rainy day for BBC Weather relaunch

Richard Chapman, the editorial director of BBC Weather, yesterday unveiled with considerable flourish its new website, complete with embedded video, bells and whistles. But this was posted at 2.15pm: "Earlier today we launched the new BBC Weather website. Unfortunately shortly after midday we experienced major technical issues. As a result we've had to roll back to the old weather site." As the Times put it: When in a snowstorm, it's best just to stop digging.
