VISAKHAPATNAM: Moderate rains and thunderstorms are predicted in coastal Andhra Pradesh over the next 48 hours due to the influence of a cyclonic circulation over southwest Bay of Bengal.
Many areas in north Andhra including Vizag city witnessed heavy rains on Thursday night.
Met officials said thunderstorms accompanied with lightning will occur at isolated places in north Andhra districts and also in south coastal AP for the next two days.
