Rainbow Friends Monster Guide – How to Beat All Monsters

Rainbow Friends is a mascot horror game similar to the likes of Five Nights at Freddy's, Poppy's Playtime, and Garten of Banban. Your goal is to look for various objects (like lightbulbs and gas canisters), avoid monsters, and escape intact. If you are a new player, you'll have trouble defeating the monsters as they each have unique gameplay mechanics that you have to learn. This Rainbow Friends monster guide will show you how each monster works to avoid it and survive.

How to Avoid All Monsters in Rainbow Friends

To survive and escape with your group of friends (or random strangers online), you first have to learn how to avoid all the Monsters in Rainbow Friends.

Blue

First Appearance Difficulty
Night 1 Chapter 1 Easy

Starting with the most basic monster, Blue. He moves around the map searching for players, and when he spots someone, he will chase them. However, if you are in a box, Blue cannot see you. Even if you move around inside the box, this won't trigger Blue to chase you.

Avoiding him is simple as long as you don't remove your box in front of him. Wait until he is around a corner, then book it in a different direction. You can even climb ladders, get to higher spots and even use the zipline on the map to avoid being chased by him.

First Appearance Difficulty
Night 2 Chapter 1 Very easy

Alongside Blue, Green will also roam around the map. However, he doesn't actively search for players. Instead, Green walks in his path and occasionally stops to search for players with his stretched arms, as this monster is blind. That means that you can be running around without a box in front of Green and it will not chase you.

However, if you touch his arms, it will be game over, even if you are hiding in a box. Avoiding him is easy, as you can take another path where he isn't going, but pay close attention to him. You don't want to be caught unaware.

Orange

First Appearance Difficulty
Night 3 Chapter 1 Easy-Medium

Like the Purple monster, Orange likes to stay in its lair. As long as he is fed, Orange will not chase the players or search for them on the map. However, if his food runs out, he will roam the map looking for more food. In Chapter 1, you can go to it's lair and press the food dispenser to give it more food and ensure you won't be chased. However, if you ring the bells on the entrance, you will activate his chase, so make sure to book it right out of there.

When he is roaming, Orange leaves behind a trail. If you touch it, Orange will know where you are and chase you. His path will stop after a while, so you can just wait it out, avoid it or cross it quickly and then hide in a box out of sight.

Purple

First Appearance Difficulty
Night 1 Chapter 2 Easy

Purple stays inside its lair inside the mist and only attacks if players come inside. To avoid getting grabbed by him, players have to stand on the rocks in his lair. This high ground will have him backing off and continuing on his way.

Keep track of where he is and try to go a different way. You can hear him thumping around, so you'll know when Purple is close and you can either run out of the mist or onto a rock.

Yellow

First Appearance Difficulty
Night 2 Chapter 2 Medium

Yellow is also similar to Blue in terms of chasing players. If you are in a box, he will not spot you even if you move. What sets him apart is that Yellow can fly around the map and land on different locations. The good thing is that even if he catches you, he will take you to his nest rather than defeating you.

All you need to do is move around in a box when he's around, and not panic. If he does catch you with his feet, you can struggle and get out of the hold before he takes you to his nest. Just make sure you can land on something soft, like the bouncy castle.

Cyan

First Appearance Difficulty
Night 4 Chapter 2 Easy-Medium

Cyan will attack any players she sees. Unlike Blue, even if you're in a box, Cyan can see you and attack if you move too much. While the monster isn't difficult to evade, it can pose a threat since you cannot even move in your box. So, you have to be patient until she cannot see you.

If you're a fan of horror games in Roblox, check out Roblox Nanny, since it also features an enemy that chases you around the map while you search for different objects
