Whilst some people like their Christmas decorations seeped in tradition, others focus on a fashionable new decor trend every year.
And for 2019, the new trend in town is apparently rainbow Christmas trees, in which the entire Christmas tree is covered with a different rainbow colour.
Still in keeping with the classic red, green and gold festive hues (kind of...), there's notes of red, orange, yellow, green and two shades of blue.
Sadly, they're only available in America right now, available on Amazon for much more than your usual evergreen, at £196 ($239.99), but as it's far from real, at least you can keep re-using it year after year, right?
But those who have splashed out on it have nothing but praise for the statement tree, with the colourful festive option boasting almost a clean sheet of five star reviews on Amazon.
One wrote: “LOVE this tree!! “My favourite that I've ever owned! Everyone was sceptical, until they actually saw it, and that was BEFORE we even decorated it!!”
Meanwhile, another customer added: “I am soooooo in love with this tree! It’s so shiny looking in person! It comes in three sections. It's so easy to put together.”
A third rave review for the colourful tree said “This is the most awesome Christmas tree that I have ever seen and it's not even decorated yet.”
Sadly, the only version available in the UK is a tiny 2ft rainbow tree from Paperchase, which doesn't have quite as much neon on it, but is much cheaper, at £12
