Rain wipes out White Sox-Orioles game Friday; teams will play straight doubleheader Saturday

CHICAGO — The Chicago White Sox-Baltimore Orioles game Friday at Guaranteed Rate Field was postponed because of rain.

It will be made up as part of a straight doubleheader starting at 1:10 p.m. Saturday. The second game will begin approximately 30-45 minutes after the opener concludes.

The scheduled starters for Game 1 are Dallas Keuchel for the Sox and Matt Harvey for the Orioles. The scheduled starters for the second game are Lance Lynn for the Sox and John Means for the Orioles.

Both games will be seven innings. The teams can add a 27th player.
