Rail disruption after person struck by train between Dunblane and Stirling

Rail services have been disrupted after a person was hit by a train near Stirling .

Emergency services rushed to the incident between Dunblane and Stirling at around 10.12am this morning.

Scotrail tweeted: "Sadly a person has been struck by a service between Dunblane-Stirling.

"We're working closely with the emergency services.

"Please use our app/journey check for live updates."

The British Transport Police and Scottish Ambulance Service confirmed they were in attendance.
