Raiders WRs Antonio Brown and Tyrell Williams provide an explosive element to Raiders’ offense

Entering this offseason, the Raiders had one clear goal in mind on offense; be more explosive. In 2018, the Raiders’ struggled to create “chunk” plays, especially in the passing game. Most of their passing numbers came within 10-yards of the line of scrimmage, specifically after Amari Cooper was traded to Dallas.

However, that shouldn’t be an issue for the Raiders this season. Oakland traded for Antonio Brown, who finished the year with 29 receptions of at least 15-yards last season. The team also signed veteran Tyrell Williams, who should help in the department as well. In 2018, Williams caught 11 passes of at least 20-yards as a part-time player in the Chargers’ offense.

Together, Brown and Williams should be one of the most dangerous and explosive wide receiver duos in the entire league. If nothing else, look for the two to open up passes underneath for the other plays on the roster as these two will demand a lot of attention from defenses.
