Raiders working out QB Kyler Murray on Monday

The Oakland Raiders are doing their due diligence on the top prospects in the 2019 draft. That includes Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.

According to Albert Breer of The Monday Morning Quarterback, the Raiders are working out Murray in Dallas today as part of their 30 pre-draft visits.

The Raiders' private workout with Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray is happening today in Dallas, sources say.

From there, they head to Columbus to work Ohio State QB Dwayne Haskins out tomorrow. Jon Gruden and Co. doing their homework on draft QBs.

Murray is the 2018 Heisman Trophy winner, but he isn’t expected to fall to the Raiders at pick No.4. In fact, Murray is projected to be the No.1 pick in the draft. If Oakland wants to select him, they are going to need to make a move with Arizona at the top of the draft.

While that is very unlikely to happen, Oakland knows the value of these workouts. Unless they are blown away by Murray, expect this to just be due diligence by Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden.
