Raiders trade OL David Sharpe to Washington for 2021 sixth-round pick

The Las Vegas Raiders continue to churn their roster as they get closer to the 53-man roster cutdown on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the team announced that they had traded reserve offensive linemen David Sharpe to the Washington Football Team for a sixth-round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.

Sharpe was originally a fourth-round pick by the team in the 2017 NFL Draft. However, he has started just four games in his NFL career. The Raiders cut Sharpe before thee 2018 season and eventually claimed him via waivers later again that season.

As of right now, Brandon Parker and Sam Young are projected to be the team’s backup offensive tackles this year with Sharpe now off the roster.
