Raiders trade for Bills WR Zay Jones

It is well known that the Raiders have been in search for receiver help after dealing with plenty of injuries this season. The starters against the Bears were Keelan Doss, Hunter Renfrow, and Trevor Davis which isn’t the best combination on paper.

The Raiders changed that on Monday by adding a new target for Derek Carr to work with. The Raiders traded a 2021 fifth-round pick for Bills wide receiver Zay Jones.

Jones has seen his snaps diminish in Buffalo with the emergence of John Brown and Cole Beasley in the passing offense. He displayed plenty of potential in 2018 improving with 626 yards and seven touchdowns on the season. Jones is a big receiver and a good route runner as well. He will help the Raiders immediately in the separation department plus giving Carr another player who can make plays in the Red zone.

While it is not Stefon Diggs like Raider nation wanted, it is still an upgrade to the position group.
