By every metric possible, Darren Waller’s game against the Jets was a historic one. The former Georgia Tech star caught 13 passes for 200 yards and two touchdowns as he helped his team get a much-needed win to improve to 7-5.
His efforts won him several awards this week, including the SNICKERS “Hungriest Player” award for the most outstanding performance in Week 13. This is the second time a Raiders’ player has won the award as Josh Jacobs received the “Hungry” chain in Week 1 after dominating the Panthers.

The Raiders are going to need Waller to have a huge Week 14 game against one of the league’s best defenses in the Indianapolis Colts. With Josh Jacobs’ status in doubt, Las Vegas is going to lean on Waller to carry the offense.
But as we as saw in Week 13, that’s certainly something he is capable of doing. Waller should be a lock for the first Pro Bowl nomination of his career as the former wide receiver continues to improve by the week.
