Raiders steal WR Keelan Doss from Jaguars practice squad

When the Oakland Raiders decided to move on from Antonio Brown, they needed to add another receiver to fill his spot. So who did Oakland target? None other than undrafted free agent Keelan Doss, who the team released earlier this month.

According to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network, the Raiders gave Doss a $300,000 signing bonus and guaranteed his base salary for the 2019 season. That is unheard of for an undrafted rookie free agent.

Doss isn’t likely to play in Week 1 as he hasn’t been a part of the team’s gameplan against the Broncos. However, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Doss climb up the depth chart as the season goes along given his size and speed. Don’t be surprised if Doss eventually becomes one of the team’s starting outside receivers by the end of the 2019 season.
