Daring thieves stole £250,000 of Blue WKD from a bottling plant before fleeing in trucks.
The alcopops were stolen from an Ayrshire bottling plant in Scotland, with officers believing three tractors with trailers attached were used to make off with pallets containing the vodka-based booze during the Monday morning raid.
The crooks initially broke into Caledonian Bottlers in Cumnock Business Park on Saturday, September 18, before returning to the scene two days later.
Police were called after one of the tractor units was found on fire on the A76 between Mennock and Enterkinfoot in Dumfriesshire.
A picture from the scene shows a river of blue booze pouring across the roadway after several bottles smashed.

Detectives are appealing for anyone who has information about the initial break in or dash cam footage of the getaway convoy to get in touch.
They’re also urging members of the public to contact officers if they’re offered bottles of Blue WKD at too-good-to-be-true prices.
Detective Constable Hugh Dempster at Kilmarnock Police Office said: “I would like to speak to anyone who has any information on the actual break-in at Caledonian Bottlers or anyone who may have seen a convoy of three HGV vehicles leaving the premises.
“I’d also ask any drivers who were travelling on the A76 towards Mennock, late on Monday evening, to check their dash cam footage as they may have captured one or more of the stolen vehicles.
“Anyone who is offered ‘Blue WKD’ alcohol at a discounted price is also asked to contact police immediately as this may be the stolen alcohol.”
