Raiders sign rookie RB Josh Jacobs to four-year deal

The Oakland Raiders have officially signed their entire rookie class after agreeing to terms with No. 24 overall pick, Josh Jacobs, late on Tuesday night. Jacobs signed a four-year deal with a fifth-year team option for the 2023 season.

Jacobs is expected to open the season as the team’s starting running back with Jalen Richard handling the passing down work. Given his talent and the opportunities he should receive in Jon Gruden’s offense, it wouldn’t be a shock to see him win the Rookie of the Year award. Jacobs is poised to have a monster rookie campaign in Oakland.
