Raiders sign RB Isaiah Crowell to a 1-year deal

With the buzz around free agency slowly dying down the Raiders keeping adding veteran players. Today, they signed 26-year-old running back Isaiah Crowell to a 1-year deal up to $2.5 million, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network:

Crowell adds needed depth to the position with only Jalen Richard, Deandre Washington, and Chris Warren currently on the roster. Crowell is coming off a season where he averaged over 4.8 yards per carry and still has plenty of upside for his age going forward.

The draft should not be affected by this decision with Richard standing as the only lock on the roster before the signing of Crowell. Deandre Washington on the other hand, should probably keep his head on a swivel for a call to turn in his playbook.
