Raiders select TCU WR Jalen Reagor in latest PFF 2020 mock draft

With Antonio Brown now out of the picture in Oakland, the Raiders will once again need to think about upgrading their wide receiver corps next offseason. Luckily for them, the 2020 draft is loaded with high-end talent at the position.

In a recent 2020 mock draft by Mike Renner of Pro Football Focus, he gave the Raiders’ TCU’s Jalen Reagor with the No. 9 pick in the draft. Take a look at why Renner believes Reagor could be a possible pick for the Raiders next April:

TCU’s only had one game so far (Arkansas Pine Bluff), and Reagor did himself no favors dropping two of his seven catchable targets (in his defense they were off-target throws). Reagor still made an Arkansas Pine Bluff corner look like he was running through mud on a deep post touchdown late in the third quarter.

Reagor doesn’t have elite size (listed at 5’11, 195 pounds), but he is one of the most electric receivers in the country. In 2018, the TCU receiver caught 72 passes for 1,061 yards and nine touchdowns as he was the team’s leading receiver.

In Oakland’s offense, he would be a perfect Z-receiver who can get in and out of his routes quickly. Keep an eye on Reagor as a possible option in next year’s draft.
