Raiders select DT Ed Oliver in final NFL.com mock draft

The Oakland Raiders will be on the clock in a matter of hours, yet no one knows the direction they might go.

For most of the draft season, it’s been Alabama’s Quinnen Williams who has been the most frequently mocked player to the Oakland Raiders at No. 4. Kentucky’s Josh Allen has made a few appearances, and so has LSU’s, Devin White. However, one name that hasn’t been mocked to the Raiders often enough is Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver.

In Daniel Jeremiah’s final mock draft at NFL.com, he has the Raiders selecting Oliver over the likes of Allen and White. Take a look at his explanation for the pick:

It wouldn’t shock me if Dwayne Haskins is the pick, but the Raiders are desperate for pass-rush help and Oliver can help them in that area.

If Williams is off the board, it’s not hard to get behind of Oakland selecting Oliver. He is a three-time All-American selection with 54 career tackles for a loss. His elite quickness and speed paired with Maurice Hurst would give the Raiders one of the most explosive interior defensive lines in all of football.

Don’t count out Oliver as a possible selection for the Raiders at pick No. 4.
