Raiders select Colorado WR Laviska Shenault in CBS Sports mock draft

After the Antonio Brown disaster, the Raiders are expected to address the wide receiver position again in 2020. Tyrell Williams is the only proven receiver on the roster, and there aren’t any receivers on the roster who project to be long-term starters on the outside.

With a loaded 2020 class, it would be surprising if the team didn’t spend one of their two first-round picks on a receiver. One potential option is Colorado’s Laviska Shenault, who was recently mocked to the Raiders by CBS Sports’ Chris Trapasso:

“Shenault is a large YAC-monster with impressive speed and would round out the Raiders receiver group nicely.”

Shenault has struggled some this season as Colorado has had subpar quarterback play, but he’s one of the best athletes at the receiver position in the entire draft and would be a great fit in Jon Gruden’s offense.

There will be several quality receivers available to the Raiders during the 2020 draft, and Shenault should be on the shortlist for Oakland.
