Raiders select Alabama LB Dylan Moses in 2020 mock draft

It’s never too early to start looking ahead to the NFL draft. After what seems to be a very successful 2019 draft class, the Raiders will once again have multiple first round picks next year. It’s very likely the team will use their picks in a similar fashion in 2020, addressing defense and specifically, their front seven.

In the latest mock draft by Luke Easterling of the Draft Wire, he has the Raiders selected Alabama linebacker Dylan Moses with the No. 9 pick in the draft.

In 2018, Moses started all 15 games for the Crimson Tide, totaling 86 tackles and 10 for a loss. He was a finalist for the Butkus Award, which is given to the best linebacker in the country. He was named a second-team All-American in his first full season of action.

Moses is pretty clearly the best linebacker in the 2020 class and should be a lock to go inside the top-15 picks or so. If Oakland can’t get solid production out of veterans such as Vontaze Burfict and Brandon Marshall, look for Moses to be on their short list of players they will target next offseason.
