Raiders release veteran OL Chaz Green

With the roster set at 90, the Raiders were forced to make a roster move after signing veteran guard Richie Incognito to a one-year deal. In turn, the Raiders decided to release veteran offensive lineman Chaz Green.

Green was originally a third-round pick by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2015 NFL draft. He was released by the team before the 2018 season and was then signed and waived by the Saints before catching on with the Raiders. Green started one game for Oakland last season, appearing in four games.

Green has experience playing both tackle spots as well as left guard. It wouldn’t be all that surprising to see him catch on somewhere during training camp as he is only 27-years old.
