Raiders RB Josh Jacobs, TE Darren Waller make PFF’s Team of the Week

The Oakland Raiders were not able to defeat the Green Bay Packers in Week 7, but several players had career games for the Silver and Black. Two of them were Josh Jacobs and Darren Waller, who made Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week for their performances last week.

Jacobs finished the game with 134 yards on 24 touches, breaking eight tackles. Waller caught seven passes for 126 yards and two touchdowns and scored another one that was called back due to a penalty. Take a look at what Pro Football Focus had to say about Waller’s performance:

Among all NFL pass-catchers with 20 or more routes run in Week 7, Waller ranked first in yards per route run (5.25) and tied for 13th in passer rating when targeted (118.8).

While Oakland still needs to add to their receiving corps, it’s clear that Jacobs and Waller are going to carry this Raiders’ offense going forward. These two young studs are only scratching the surface of their potential, and that should be a scary thought for their future opponents.
