Raiders QB Derek Carr: ‘I’m not going anywhere’

If you have been following Raiders news throughout the draft process, there has been speculation about the quarterback position. Both Kyler Murray, and Dwayne Haskins worked out for Jon Gruden, and Mike Mayock causing stirs in the media.

This has weighed a toll on Derek Carr with him asking for a fight with ESPN personalities, and sending out cryptic Instagram messages to Gruden. Today, Carr answered questions about the noise that was surrounding him during the offseason.

Carr confidence continued to grow during his time at the podium with him laying down a great quote for his haters who want him off the roster.

Derek Carr: "We're not just planning for this year. I'm honestly gonna be here a long time. I hope that's OK with you guys. You gotta get used to me.

"I'm not going anywhere. This is my team and it will be for the next however long I want to play."

The Raiders have to love this confidence from their quarterback as he sets upon a make it or break it season. Carr has all the weapons around him to perform at a high level. We will see if he will back these words up in September.
