Raiders players react to tragic news of death of Kobe Bryant in helicopter accident

Today the sports world was shaken to its core by the news of the death of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant in a helicopter crash. TMZ was the first to report it and one by one it was confirmed by all outlets including the City of Calabasas and the Lakers organization.

It’s been hard to process that Bryant, just 41 years of age, is gone. Just before he was set to enter the Hall of Fame. The news initially and understandably was met to utter disbelief. And as each separate and respected outlet confirmed it, it sunk in that it was real.

The sports world lost a true legend. The Raiders players, many of whom grew up watching Kobe in his heyday as one of the greatest to ever play the game of basketball.
