The Las Vegas Raiders have put yet another player on the reserve/COVID-19 list. This time, it’s starting linebacker Cory Littleton.
It’s unclear as to if Littleton tested positive for the virus or he was a close contact with someone else, but he is now forced to quarantine for at least five days. That means Littleton will miss the team’s Week 10 matchup with the Denver Broncos. It’s also worth mentioning that Littleton did practice with the team on Wednesday and wasn’t listed on the injury report.

With Littleton likely out for Week 10, look for veteran Raekwon McMillan to possibly take his spot in the starting lineup. We could also see an uptick in snaps for Nicholas Morrow, who has been the team’s starting strongside linebacker.
Littleton has started all eight games for the Raiders this season, totaling 48 tackles and three tackles for a loss. According to Pro Football Focus, he has graded out as one of the league’s worst starting linebackers. His biggest problems have been in run defense as he has missed far too many tackles.
The Raiders are optimistic that in time, Littleton will catch onto the scheme and will return to his Pro Bowl form that we saw in Los Angeles. But as of now, he has been far too inconsistent during the first half of the 2020 season.
We will continue to update the status of Littleton as more information becomes available. But as of now, the Raiders aren’t likely to have Littleton in their starting lineup on Sunday afternoon against the Broncos.
