The Raiders don’t appear to be done adding to their wide receiver corps yet in free agency. The team has already signed John Brown to a one-year deal and brought back veteran Zay Jones. However, it’s clear that Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden want to add more competition.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders are visiting with free-agent wide receiver Willie Snead on Wednesday. The 28-year old receiver started eight games with the Ravens last year, catching 33 passes for 432 yards.

Snead has spent the past three seasons with the Ravens, catching 126 passes for 1,422 yards and nine touchdowns. Before that, he spent the first four years of his career with the Saints and posted big numbers in 2015 and 2016.
Snead is primarily a slot receiver, but does have the flexibility to play on the outside. If brought in, he would likely be someone who could back up multiple positions but certainly wouldn’t be relied upon to be a starter.
It will be fascinating to see if a deal ends up forming here as the Raiders could use one more proven receiver on their depth chart.
