Raiders LS Trent Sieg’s agent Paul Sheehy hospitalized on ventilator with COVID-19

We tend to think of only the players and coaches when we consider positive cases of COVID-19, for which there have been a few. We also tend to think of it just as something in which most are asymptomatic and they need a couple weeks of quarantine. That is not always the case.

There are a lot more than just players and coaches in the NFL sphere. And not everyone can just quarantine themselves and everything will be fine.

Today we learned of NFL agent Paul Sheehy who is currently in the hospital for COVID-19 on a ventilator fighting for his life. Nolan Harrison III tweeted out the news.

Sheehy represents several NFL players, including Raiders long snapper Trent Sieg. Other clients include punter Britton Colquitt and edge rusher Cameron Wake.

Sheehy tested positive for COVID-19 on June 21 and was hospitalized last Friday and placed on a ventilator, according to 9News in Denver. He is said to be improving, but patients have been known to suffer setbacks, so improvement is no guarantee he is on the road to recovery.
