Raiders lose late to Chiefs on Sunday Night Football, 35-31

In Week 11, the Raiders played one of the most exciting games of the season as they hosted the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football. However, they were on the wrong side of this game, losing 35-31.

The Raiders took a 31-28 lead with 1:43 left in the fourth quarter on a two-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten. It was a big play for Witten as he was called for a false start a few plays earlier that backed the Raiders up after being on the one-yard line.

However, the Raiders allowed the Chiefs to go 75 yards to score the game-winning touchdown. Patrick Mahomes found a wide-open Travis Kelce in the end zone to seal the win. The Raiders are now 6-4 on the season and any hopes of winning the division are likely out the window.

The Raiders will travel to Atlanta in Week 12 to take on the Falcons. Their schedule does get easier the rest of the way as they will play only two more teams with winning records. They will need to go on a bit of a roll if they do want to clinch a playoff spot this season.

Here are the team’s leading offensive producers from Week 11:

Leading Passer: QB Derek Carr – 23-31 for 275 yards and 3 TDs, 1 INT

Leading Rusher: RB Josh Jacobs – 17 carries for 55 yards and 1 TD

Leading Receiver: TE Darren Waller – 7 receptions for 88 yards and 1 TD
