A tiger can’t change his stripes. For the first time this season, Vontaze Burfict made a bonehead play that cost his team. In the second quarter, Burfict was flagged for unnecessary roughness as he hit a Colts’ receiver in the head. He was immediately ejected.
Given his history, it wouldn’t be a shock if Burfict was suspended for next week’s game against the Bears. Tahir Whitehead replaced Burfict in the starting lineup.
