Raiders LB Nicholas Morrow, G Richie Incognito among NFL top performance-based bonus pay

In order to make up for pay deficiencies for things like playing time and performance compared to salary levels, the NFL sets aside a certain amount of money to be distributed across the NFL. The Raiders had a couple of players who were among the top 25 in combined distributions.

Nicholas Morrow received the 13th-highest amount of combined earnings. He received nearly $310K in performance based pay and over $220K from the veteran pool for a combined $530K in bonus money. A nice chunk of change for the former undrafted free agent linebacker. That’s nearly as much as he made in $645K base salary. That’s what he earned appearing in all 16 games with 8 starts.

Making the list as well was veteran guard Richie Incognito. His $475,567 in combined additional earnings were 23rd-most. After serving a two-game suspension to begin the year, Incognito played every single snap the remainder of the season at the left guard spot. He earned that bonus. He also earned a two-year, $12.7 million extension.
