Raiders keep playoff hopes alive, beat Colts 23-20

The biggest game of the season for the Las Vegas Raiders came in Week 17 against the Colts. After back-to-back wins, the Raiders set themselves up to make the playoffs if they could win their final two games.

Well, the Raiders are still alive in the playoff hunt after defeating the Colts. It took every last second for the Raiders to get the win, but they are now in a win-and-in game for Week 18.

The Raiders got huge performances by Hunter Renfrow and Zay Jones, who both made big plays in key moments. Jones had the first 100-yard day of his career and Renfrow caught seven passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.

But it was the defense who stepped up, holding the Colts to only 20 points. They also allowed only 262 total yards of offense in this game, shutting down the passing attack for Indianapolis. It was one of their better overall performances of the season, especially considering they were on the road.

It was Daniel Carlson again who won the game for the Raiders. It was a 43-ard field goal for Carlson. He made another game-winning field goal to help the Raiders improve to 9-7 on the season.

The Raiders will finish their 2021-2022 season by hosting the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 18. If they win that game, they will make the playoffs for the first time since 2017.
