Raiders’ Jon Gruden ‘all over’ Kyler Murray in NFL draft

The Arizona Cardinals are believed to be quite impressed with Oklahoma quarterback prospect Kyler Murray. If the draft were held today, most would expect them to select him first overall.

However, the Cardinals are not the only team enamored with Murray.

According to Fort Worth Star-Telegram reporters Clarence Hill, the Oakland Raiders and Washington Redskins also have real interest.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden is reportedly “all over Kyler Murray.”

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering the time Gruden has spent over the years gushing about young quarterbacks while in the broadcast booth or running his QB camp for ESPN.

The Raiders have already declared that Derek Carr is their franchise quarterback, but that doesn’t mean things can’t change.

After all, the same has been said about Josh Rosen and the Cardinals, yet there is still a lot of noise about the Cardinals’ interest in Murray.

Could this create a potential trade where the Cardinals could acquire multiple Raiders picks? If the Cardinals decide to stay with Rosen, they might be able to deal the top pick.

This just adds another layer of intrigue to the draft, which is still several weeks away.
