Raiders’ Home Field in Embarrassingly Bad Condition Heading into Season Finale vs. Broncos

The Las Vegas Raiders are ending their disappointing 2024 season with a rough field at Allegiant Stadium on Sunday.

Pictures and videos taken by 9News’ Scotty Gange before Week 18’s kickoff vs. the Denver Broncos showed the field completely torn up in the end zone. The Raiders logo painted on the field appeared patchy as the grass doesn’t seem to all be a similar length.

Allegiant Stadium is the second most expensive stadium in the NFL, costing $1.9 billion to create before it opened in 2020.

Since Allegiant Stadium is hosting Super Bowl LVIII next month, fans were shocked to see how poor the field conditions were for the Raiders’ final game of the 2024 season.

It’s unknown what happened to the field to make it look this rough, but some fans suspected it has to do with weather since the grass is rolled into the stadium for games. Regardless of the reasoning, fans were quick to judge the Raiders for the embarrassing field appearance. Check out some of the reactions.
