Raiders GM Mike Mayock losing patience with Antonio Brown’s antics

You all remember when everyone thought the Oakland Raiders really got one over on the Pittsburgh Steelers when they traded for wide receiver Antonio Brown? Yes us too. But with every passing day, it feels more and more like the Steelers were the ones who won this trade.

The latest round of madness comes in the form of a public callout of Brown by Raiders general manager Mike Mayock. The former NFL draft analyst turned GM pulled no punches when he put it all on the line for Brown as the petulant star continues to hold out of practice while he pouts because he can’t wear an unsafe helmet just because he wants to.

It’s starting to feel like Brown is intentionally going out of his way to not play this season. I don’t know the details of his massive new contract but if there’s a way he can make a ton of money this season and stall the Raiders to stay off the field, it really seems like he’s willing to try.
