Raiders finish 27th in latest Touchdown Wire Power Rankings

After back to back losses, the Raiders have tumbled down various power ranking lists. To make matters worse, they weren’t competitive in either loss as both games were decided by halftime.

In a recent article by Doug Farrar of the Touchdown Wire, he ranked all 32 teams in the NFL after three weeks. Unfortunately,  Farrar ranked the Raiders 27th after their loss to Minnesota and wasn’t impressed by their roster. Here is a snippet of what Farrar thinks about the Raiders going forward in 2019:

The 34-14 loss was a reality check for anyone who believed Jon Gruden’s team was going to take major steps forward this season.

It’s very possible that Oakland happened to lose to two of the best teams in the NFL in Kansas City and Minnesota. However, that just shows they aren’t ready to compete with elite teams. Oakland will get another test this week as they take on the Colts in Indianapolis. If they struggle to stay competitive in this one, the Raiders could be in for a long season.
