OAKLAND, Calif. _ The Raiders went from joy to pain in a heartbeat on Saturday.
Leading 33-14 early in the fourth quarter, quarterback and MVP candidate Derek Carr left the game with an apparent right ankle injury.
Carr was wrapped up by his ankle for a sack by Trent Cole with 10:55 to play in the fourth quarter and writhed in pain after going to the ground.
He spent several minutes on the field as trainers attended to him and coach Jack Del Rio came to check on him. He eventually was helped off, unable to put any pressure on that right leg. Carr was later taken by a cart from the sidelines.
