Raiders DE Maxx Crosby is PFF’s highest graded pass rusher through Week 10

It’s become very evident over the last few weeks that Maxx Crosby isn’t just a fluke or a flash in the pan. Instead, he’s shown that he can play like an absolute superstar.

A perfect example is his Week 10 performance against the Chiefs. Despite the Raiders not playing well, Crosby had himself a whale of a game. He recorded 13 pressures and it was the third time this season he tallied at least 12 pressures in a game.

According to Pro Football Focus, he has the highest pass-rush grade of any player in the NFL this season. That isn’t all that surprising considering he leads the league in pressures with 63. That is 13 more than the next player, which just so happens to be Myles Garrett.

Crosby is playing like a superstar and he is well on his way to earning his first All-Pro honor. There hasn’t been a better defensive end in the league this year and you can make a case that he’s been the best defensive player in the NFL.

In nine games, Crosby has totaled 22 quarterback hits along with five sacks. If he can start converting more pressures and hurries into sacks, it won’t be long until he is considered the best pass rusher in the game.
