Raiders DE Maxx Crosby has career performance in Week 4

In Week 4, the Oakland Raiders got an elite performance by their rookie defensive end. No, it wasn’t No. 4 overall pick Clelin Ferrell. But instead, it was fourth-round pick Maxx Crosby from Eastern Michigan.

Not only did Crosby have the best game of his career, but he was the team’s highest-graded defender, according to Pro Football Focus. He finished the game with four pressures, two pass deflections, two tackles for a loss and one forced fumble. He was all over the field, making impact plays all day.

While Ferrell hasn’t quite lived up to expectations yet, Crosby has been better than Oakland could have ever imagined. He has solidified himself as a starter and a building block going forward. Crosby could prove to be one of the best selections by the Raiders in the entire 2019 draft.
